The ACM (the Association for Computing Machinery) has named Kari-Jouko Räihä as Distinguished Member for his contributions to computing, which are driving innovation and enabling economic competitiveness. Kari-Jouko was the chairmand of the COGAIN network for 5 years and has published a significant amount of influential papers on gaze interaction.
