ECEM 2011 is the 16th edition of a series of European Conferences on Eye Movements. It is an international, interdisciplinary conference devoted to research on oculomotor control and active vision.
Over the years, ECEM has become a rather big, worldwide, scientific event, and it attracts today several hundred researchers in many different research areas related to oculomotor control and active vision. ECEM brings together neurophysiologists, psychologists, neuropsychologists, clinicians, linguists, computational and applied scientists interested in the movements of the eyes in a wide variety of natural perceptual tasks (reading, scene perception, driving…), the neurobiological bases of eye movements, their interactions with perception, attention and cognition, and many other related topics. for
