Video Introduction to Digital Face

Digital face introduced by Lars Buchhave (Technical university of Denmark)

The digital face does not directly benefit from eye tracking, however, some of the algorithms involved are strongly related to (certain) eye tracking algorithms. The main benefit of having such a face is the possibility of making a virtual "talking" face as a digital representative of a person, so the person can communicate via this instead of just by displaying text. In principle the face can be built from old videos (with speech) from before the person got ill.
